Class of 2010

I wish i could explain how i felt last night, sitting in the spot light of the municipal auditorium. It was intense. I didnt think i would make it there. Freshman year got me so behind with my low grades, and then the whole pregnancy, i thought i wouldnt make it. But there i was, sitting next to jazmin, and that girl that sucks her thumb, listening to the speeches [props allison by the way, good speech.] and watching the names being called one by one, when i finally hear mine. I couldnt hear the people clapping or corey apparently screaming my name lol i was too focused on my principal, and not falling of course. I forgot about the crowd really. I was so proud of myself, so happy that i did it. And i knew that my baby boy was watching my do it, and that i could always tell him he can do it, because i did. And even though it was a really happy moment, i thought about the sadness too. This was my security blanket. These people were my best friends. For four long years, some even longer, i had depended on these people to be there every week day, to help me, to lean on me, to be there for me, and they never really let me down. This night was the last night we would all be together. And it kind of made me sad. All the memories played in my mind last night. Me and marie making up crazy stories. Balloons in the lockers POP and being choked with a jump rope. Lauren and i walking in the cfeteria only to be told Girllll you are HOOTT! Walking into school with daniela, pq, and raider, and hearing raider talking about my ass, thinking i didnt understand spanish. Giving guys the number to the rejection hottline. Skipping music class only for arielle to trip me. Calling mr.breedlove from his own classroom, and watching him talk to himself. The easy button, scoop. It was fun. And even though i went through hell alot of the time, i wouldnt change anything. Illl look back to highschool as a wonderful expirience, im satisfied with my expirience. Congratulations class of 2010, WE FINALLY MADE IT.
